About The Role

We are seeking a talented Software Engineer to join our team focused on developing innovative solutions for diabetes management. In this role, you will work on a cutting-edge Software as a Service (SaaS) cloud platform that supports users in over 50 countries. Your primary responsibility will be to develop scalable, reliable, and secure cloud-based solutions that process billions of tasks daily, contributing to life-changing medical products. As a key member of our agile team, you will collaborate with cross-functional partners, including InfoSec, design, and API teams, to deliver high-quality features and enhancements. Your expertise will help shape the future of diabetes care technology, empowering millions to manage their health more effectively and comfortably.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field, or equivalent work experience
  • 3+ years of software development experience in an Agile environment
  • Proficiency with HTML5, CSS, Typescript, and JavaScript
  • Experience with modern front-end build tools and pipelines
  • Familiarity with version control systems such as Git
  • Knowledge of web standards, best practices, and responsive design
  • Hands-on experience developing RESTful APIs and microservices
  • Experience working with design systems and Figma design tokens
  • Strong motivation to learn new technologies and software skills
  • Excellent communication skills, with high attention to detail
  • Proven ability to work effectively in cross-functional and distributed teams
  • Experience conducting collaborative code reviews

Responsibilities

  • Develop reusable components and front-end libraries to enhance application functionality
  • Translate UI/UX designs and wireframes into high-quality, efficient code
  • Optimize components for maximum performance across diverse devices and browsers
  • Create new user-facing features utilizing React.js
  • Collaborate with internal and external teams to integrate APIs that enable data sharing and utilization
  • Design and implement maintainable, testable, and scalable code solutions
  • Work closely with InfoSec teams to ensure security best practices are followed
  • Define and shape API contracts in partnership with cross-functional teams
  • Maintain high standards of code quality, uptime, and system performance
  • Contribute to architectural decisions and operational improvements
  • Create diagrams, flowcharts, and models to illustrate system design and workflows
  • Participate actively in Agile development cycles, including planning, development, testing, and deployment
