Compensation: $210K-$270K USD base (depending on experience, location, and equity)

About The Role

Were looking for a Senior Frontend Engineer (React) to help design and build high-performance web applications at the frontier of decentralized finance (DeFi). Youll collaborate with design, backend, and product teams to deliver intuitive, robust, and scalable user experiences for a next-generation trading platform handling large-scale on-chain activity.

This is an opportunity to take end-to-end ownership of key user experiences that serve a global audience, working on a platform that processes billions in trading volume.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and enhance core web application features for a decentralized trading platform.
• Collaborate with designers to create responsive, high-performance user interfaces.
• Work closely with backend engineers and cross-functional teams to deliver new features and improve platform performance.
• Implement modern frontend best practices with React and related technologies.
• Interface with blockchain APIs and Web3 libraries to build cutting-edge trading experiences.
• Contribute to engineering standards, code quality, and product direction.
  
  
  

Required Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience (or equivalent skill) as a frontend engineer in a reputable tech company or startup.
• Proven experience building production-grade, scalable web applications.
• Deep expertise in JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
• Commercial experience using React and Redux (or similar frameworks).
• Ability to deliver accessible, performant, and responsive web interfaces.
  
  
  

Preferred / Bonus Qualifications

• Experience delivering products in finance, fintech, or security-sensitive sectors.
• Familiarity with CSS preprocessors (LESS, SASS) and JS bundlers (Webpack).
• Experience with state management libraries and modern frontend stacks (TypeScript, Next.js, Tailwind).
• Interest in DeFi, blockchain technologies, or Web3 applications.
• Bachelors degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience (preferred, not required).
  
  
  

Compensation & Logistics

• Base Salary: $210K$270K USD
• Bonus: Annual performance bonus (target 15%, with potential for higher performance tiers).
• Equity: Token or equity participation adjusted for market price.
• Location: Hybrid (NYC preferred MonWed in-office, ThuFri optional WFH); open to remote candidates across the U.S., Canada, and Mexico for exceptional talent.
• Relocation Bonus: $25,000 for non-NY U.S. hires; TN visa available for Canadian candidates.
