Job Description

Talent Groups is seeking a Product Owner to support a leading workers compensation insurance organization. This role focuses on guiding product vision, managing the backlog, and ensuring delivery teams have clear and valuable work each sprint. The ideal candidate has strong Agile experience, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work closely with both technical and business teams.

What You Will Do

Manage and prioritize the product backlog to support high value delivery

Write clear and actionable user stories that meet the definition of ready

Facilitate Agile ceremonies and support alignment across scrum teams

Track sprint progress and maintain work items in Azure DevOps

Document technical debt and support backlog refinement and planning

Serve as a link between implementation teams and stakeholders

Identify and communicate project risks or issues

Required Skills And Experience

Three or more years of experience in software product development or in a cross functional software team

Experience In Insurance Or Workers Compensation Is a Plus

Strong backlog management and prioritization skills

Strong stakeholder alignment and relationship building abilities

Experience facilitating Agile ceremonies

Ability to research and collaborate with subject matter experts

Strong written and verbal communication skills with regular updates to teams and stakeholders

Ability to identify and escalate risks

Proficiency with Azure DevOps for backlog and sprint management
