Torch Technologies is seeking a Systems Engineer to provide interdisciplinary support across AATTCS technical efforts, assisting in the development, verification, and validation of complex systems. This role supports program decision-making and contributes to all phases of system development.
As a Systems Engineer your duties will include the following, but are not limited to:
- Provide systems engineering support across the full technical effort
- Develop and analyze technical information to support program management decisions
- Assist in development, integration, testing, and evaluation of systems
- Support system verification and validation activities
- Collaborate with team members across multiple disciplines
- Apply problem-solving skills to devise new approaches to engineering challenges
- U.S. Citizenship
- B.S. in Electrical, Aerospace, Mechanical, or Systems Engineering, or a related technical discipline
- Entry level, 0+ years of experience
- Ability to obtain and maintain an active DoD clearance
- Experience with Linux and Windows operating systems and real-time applications
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
- Experience in weapon systems development, integration, test, and evaluation
- Knowledge of aircraft stability, flight control theory, and flight control law development (classical and modern)
- Experience in aircraft performance and aerodynamic analyses
