Elite Security Agent Engineer - AI Cybersecurity - Fully Remote
We’re partnered with a rapidly growing, VC-backed cybersecurity company recognized for its innovation and trusted by Fortune 500s. They’re expanding their current team and looking for a top-tier Security Agent Engineer who thrives in dynamic, high-impact environments.
The role combines deep security expertise with advanced AI/ML — think agentic workflows, automated forensics and threat hunting, and integrations with existing security stacks. It’s a hands-on position that heavily influences product direction and works closely with the operations team.
Responsibilities:
- Design, build, and deploy AI-powered security agents to automate threat detection and incident response
- Create agentic workflows that autonomously hunt, analyze logs, and take intelligent actions
- Partner with product and SOC teams to translate workflows into scalable agent capabilities and refine detections
- Integrate agents with existing data lakes, SIEMs, and tool stacks while embedding practitioner knowledge into decision logic
Key requirements:
- 4+ years of hands-on experiences in incident response, threat hunting, and log forensics
- Strong Python skills for automation and security tooling
- Experience with LLMs or agentic frameworks (e.g. LangChain, CrewAI, AutoGen)
- Some knowledge of security data formats and threat intelligence
