As a Data Scientist with GenAI focus at Sii, you’ll work hand in hand with engineering teams to design, prototype, and scale innovative AI solutions that transform developer workflows. Your tasks
- Design, prototype, and implement GenAI-powered solutions supporting developer workflows such as CI/CD, IDE extensions, automation, and documentation
- Develop and deploy AI tools, APIs, and plugins that accelerate engineering productivity and efficiency
- Build and optimize RAG pipelines, embeddings, and vector database integrations to provide contextual developer assistance
- Evaluate and integrate LLM-based solutions (e.g., OpenAI, Anthropic, AWS Bedrock, GitHub Copilot) into enterprise environments
- Automate workflows using GenAI-driven scripts, bots, and pipelines to enhance the developer experience
- Collaborate with security, legal, and compliance teams to ensure safe and responsible use of AI
- Collect and analyze metrics on developer productivity, measuring impact and continuously improving implemented solutions
- At least 5 years of experience in software engineering, platform engineering, or developer productivity roles
- Hands-on expertise in implementing GenAI solutions in enterprise or production environments
- Strong proficiency in Python (with additional experience in Go or Node.js as a plus)
- Solid understanding of APIs, cloud platforms (AWS preferred), and containerized environments
- Experience with LLMs, embeddings, RAG pipelines, and vector databases
- Familiarity with developer workflows, CI/CD, Kubernetes, and modern tooling ecosystems
- Very good command of English (min. B2/C1 level), enabling effective communication in international teams
- Residing in Poland required
- Experience developing plugins, extensions, or custom developer tools
- Knowledge of prompt engineering and fine-tuning practices
- Awareness of data security, compliance, and responsible AI principles
- Background in DevEx, developer enablement, or productivity-focused roles
