We’re hiring a Business Analyst for a leading organization in the Financial Services and Payments industry. This role focuses on building and maintaining strong relationships with external acceptance partners—including Acquirers, Merchants, Processors, Payment Gateways, Integrated Payment Providers, Payment Facilitators, and POS software developers—to ensure seamless payment acceptance compliance and full integration across the Payments ecosystem.
The ideal candidate will serve as a trusted advisor to both external partners and internal stakeholders, resolving operational challenges, ensuring payment acceptance efficiency, and helping partners achieve their business goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and maintain positive relationships with payment ecosystem partners.
- Resolve complex issues related to card transaction processing.
- Track and manage system failures impacting partners.
- Coordinate and resolve non-compliant partner processing issues, including POS testing.
- Support department-level analytics and reporting tasks.
- Provide day-to-day operational support for acquirers, network partners, issuers, and processors.
- Manage multiple business relationships simultaneously and ensure smooth operations.
- Participate in remediation activities and support reporting deliverables.
- Identify, analyze, and resolve operational issues to mitigate risk and maintain stakeholder alignment.
Technical Skills & Qualifications
- Strong understanding of program, contract, and technical documentation requirements.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Hands-on experience with Salesforce, Teradata, and/or Snowflake.
- Background in electronic payments or merchant card processing (Credit/Debit/Prepaid/Chip).
- Experience working directly with merchants and business owners to resolve technical issues.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams).
