Senior Frontend Software Engineer

• Design and maintain the frontend architecture and technology stack to meet both functional and non-functional requirements.
• Evaluate and advise on the feasibility of non-functional requirements (e.g., performance, scalability, maintainability).
• Estimate effort for backlog items and ensure estimates remain accurate and up to date.
• Implement and test features according to the Definition of Done.
• Debug and resolve issues in existing functionality.
• Ensure continuous integration and maintain build quality within the frontend ecosystem.
• Collaborate closely with other technical roles to improve development infrastructure and automation.
• Contribute to quality assurance activities to ensure products meet design and usability expectations.
• Identify and communicate technical debt, ensuring it is visible and properly prioritized in collaboration with the Product Owner.
• Promote and apply frontend best practices and coding standards across the team.
• Validate that the implemented solution is technically ready for production.
• Support and manage the technical transition of the solution into live operation.
• Drive the data visualisation, doing thourough research, choosing the best library based on the project requirements.

Must have

• Bachelor or Master degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science or Electrical Engineering
• 2+ years of experience as a software developer focused on web UI development (React, Sass, SignalR, D3.js for data visualization or other web graphical technologies such as Canvas or SVG, or other modern JavaScript libraries and frameworks)
• Knowledge of Software modeling tools and technologies (UML, …)
• Analytical and systematic working style
• Affinity to work in an international environment
• Commitment to deliver outstanding quality
• Experience in data visualisation, working with various 3rd party libraries, understanding the advantages of each of them
• Strong English communication skills, including the ability to present and explain technical concepts clearly in English

Nice to have

• Experience in backend development (C#)
• Experience working with database systems (knowledge of PostgreSQL is a plus)
• Experience with CI/CD (Jenkins)
• Experience with agile development methods
• Basic understanding of WebSocket technologies (SignalR or similar)
