Senior Network Automation Engineer (Ansible, Cisco)

Must Haves:

• 4+ years of network automation experience with Ansible
• Proficient with Ansible Collections - roles, plugins, modules, filters, playbooks, task files, variable files, etc.
• Strong knowledge of Cisco IOS, IOS-XR and NXOS network devices
• Understanding of Ansible Inventory and connection methods for network devices
• Experience developing python modules and functions to supplement ansible playbooks
• Familiar with Ansible Core, Ansible Tower, and Ansible Automation Hub
• Experience with Linux/Unix command line and command line tools

Day-to-Day:

We are looking for a Sr. Engineer to who is highly proficient in designing and implementing ansible networking functions for a family of devices. This person will be monitoring playbook performance and troubleshoot playbooks as needed. Lead discussions on network architectural decisions. Work with a small team of engineers to solve design challenges based around Cisco OS versions, legacy network topologies and current deployment processes. The team is currently undergoing a technology transformation which will change the way we produce automation tools as well as a new website platform to leverage those tools.
