£40,000 - £43,000 per year

Description

A global leader in AI-powered digital pathology software is seeking a Technical Support Engineer to join their growing team. Their pioneering technology enables life sciences organisations to analyse and interpret medical imaging data more effectively, supporting research and innovation across the sector.


This role is fully remote within the UK and ideal for someone who enjoys working with complex software systems and supporting customers in a technical environment.


Key responsibilities

  • Configure, install, and support specialist digital pathology software for customers
  • Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve software and IT-related issues
  • Conduct software testing, updates, and database migrations
  • Identify root causes of technical problems and propose effective solutions
  • Advise customers on hardware and software implementation
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients through reliable, professional communication
  • Collaborate with internal engineering and product teams to ensure successful deployments


About you

  • Previous experience as a Technical Support Engineer, Application Support Engineer, or IT Engineer
  • Knowledge of scripting languages (e.g. PowerShell, Python, or Bash)
  • Strong understanding of Microsoft tools, application environments, and networking concepts
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and organisational skills
  • Confident communicating with both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Able to manage your own workload and work independently in a remote environment
