Job Description


JavaScript QA Engineer – FinTech – JavaScript, Cypress, Playwright, API Testing


Oliver Bernard are currently working with a FinTech start-up who are ramping up their Platform at a speed of knots to scale in line with their continued growth.


They are looking for a strong Senior level, JavaScript focused QA Engineer to join their tech team as the primary QA Engineer - who will be responsible for building out their Automation practices from scratch.


This position is an ideal opportunity for someone seeking autonomy in their next role, comfortable working in an individual contributor capacity, and wants to be a decision maker when it comes to QA best practices and processes that are implemented across the business.


To be considered, you will need the following experience:


  • At least 5-6 years’ experience working in JavaScript or TypeScript Automation environments
  • Framework experience with Cypress, Playwright, or equivalent technologies
  • API Testing experience with REST, Postman and / or SoapUI
  • Strong CI/CD experience, with hands-on work using GitHub Actions / Jenkins
  • Capable working autonomously and driving Quality best practices in your work


This position is a fully remote opening, for UK based candidates, and is able to offer £60-70K for the right profile.
