Title: Senior Full Stack Software Engineer

Role: Full Time, Permanent

Location: Oxfordshire (Hybrid, 2 days a week in office)

Salary: £65,000-£90,000

F5 are delighted to be working with a global leader in SpaceTech, who after some recent hires are looking to further expand their Ground Software team.

They are looking for someone with extensive experience in developing software for safety-critical applications across the full stack. Expertise in the space sector or adjacent industries (e.g., defence, aviation, telecommunications, or automotive) is crucial.

Required Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience)
• 5+ years of experience developing safety-critical software in the space domain or adjacent industries
• 5+ years of full stack development experience
• Object-oriented programming experience (preferably in Java, Python, or C++)
• Frontend development using modern frameworks (preferably React)
• Experience with containerised applications and orchestration technologies (Docker, Kubernetes, Docker Compose)
• Proficiency with CI/CD tools (GitLab CI, GitHub Actions)
• Strong knowledge of SQL databases and data management
• Proficiency with Git and version control workflows
• Exposure to cloud platforms like AWS or Azure
• Knowledge of security best practices in software development
