Position: Azure Data Architect (Microsoft Fabric)
Location: Onsite- Santa Clara, CA (Local Preferred | Relocation is fine)

Job Description
Required Qualifications:
- 12+ years of total IT experience, including 4 5 years as a Data Architect or similar role.
- Several years of hands-on experience with Azure data services and modern data platforms.
- Proven expertise in Microsoft Fabric (lakehouse/warehouse, OneLake, Unity Catalog, pipelines) and Azure data services (Azure Synapse Analytics, ADF, Azure Data Lake Storage Gen2).
- Strong SQL skills (T-SQL), with experience in Python/Scala and Spark/PySpark for big-data transformations.
- Demonstrated experience in data modelling and warehousing (star schema, snowflake, dimensional modelling, medallion architecture).
- Experience designing and implementing ETL/ELT pipelines using ADF, dataflows, or Synapse pipelines.
- Knowledge of data governance, metadata, data lineage, security, and compliance in cloud data platforms.
- Strong communication and leadership skills; ability to mentor teams and liaise with business and technical stakeholders.
- Familiarity with DevOps/DataOps practices for data solutions (CI/CD pipelines, IaC with ARM/Bicep/Terraform, monitoring).
- Experience in startup environments.
- Exposure to data governance tools and frameworks.
