We are seeking a skilled Manager Information Technology to join Application Services -CAT IT Division

We are seeking a seasoned IT Manager to lead high-performing engineering teams in delivering scalable, secure, and innovative software solutions. This role involves technical leadership, people management, and strategic collaboration to align engineering efforts with business goals .

The preference for this role is to be based out of Whitefield PSN Office, Bangalore, India

What You Will Do

• Lead and mentor multiple software engineering teams, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
• Drive the design, development, and deployment of robust software systems aligned with organisational objectives.
• Oversee project planning, resource allocation, and performance tracking to ensure timely and quality delivery.
• Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to translate business needs into technical solutions.
• Implement and optimise engineering processes, tools, and infrastructure for efficiency and scalability.
• Ensure adherence to architectural standards, security best practices, and compliance requirements.
• Provide technical guidance in Java Services, Angular/React Web frontend, cloud platforms (AWS), microservices, and DevOps practices.
• Manage team performance, career development, and recruitment efforts.
• Collaborate with product managers, UX designers, and other stakeholders to define technical requirements and deliverables.
• Manage project timelines, resource allocation, and risk mitigation.
  
  

What You Will Have

• 12+ years of Enterprise software product development experience with strong coding and architectural skills.
• 5+ years of experience managing multiple agile teams and driving technical decisions.
• Knowledge in Java, Angular/React, cloud services (AWS/Azure), CI/CD, and modern architectural patterns.
• Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, and application security.
• Experience with messaging systems (Kafka, Azure Service Bus, etc.) and API tools (Bruno/Postman, Swagger).
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong proficiency in Java, JavaScript, with hands-on experience in Java/React and Angular.
• Proficiency in web technologies like HTML5, CSS3 etc.
• Exposure to Quality Assurance standards and Unit Testing/End to end testing technologies.
• Exposure to containerisation technologies like Docker and ECS or Kubernetes.
• Flexibility to work in EMEA shift timings (01:00PM -10:00PM IST)
• This position requires candidate to work a 5-day -a -week schedule in the office
