Position: Network Engineer

Location: Arlington, VA- Onsite

Duration: Fulltime

Visa: s, and TN-1 visa candidates are acceptable and relocation support will be provided.

Salary: $165,000 (full health benefits and 10% bonus plan also included)

We have direct client (Oil & Gas domain company) located near Arlington, Virginia that is currently looking to fill an open full-time (PERM) Network Engineer position. This role will require 100% onsite support.

Role: Design and deploy functional networks (LAN, WLAN, WAN). Configure and install software, servers, routers and other network devices. Manage firewalls. Resolve issues tiers of support have escalated by troubleshooting cloud and local infrastructure.

Qualifications:

5+ years of industry-related experience as a Senior Network Engineer or Network Administrator

Professional certification preferred (CCNP, CCDP)

Solid background in network administration and architecture

In-depth understanding of communication protocols (mainly TCP/IP) and routing protocols (i.e. BGP, OSPF)

Familiarity with access control models and network security

Knowledge of coding languages for scripting (Python, Perl)

Experience with network diagnostic, monitoring & analysis tools (SolarWinds network tools)

Solid understanding of network operating systems (JUNOS, Cisco IOS)
