Why this role matters
As a DevOps/Release Engineer, you will join our growing engineering team in a key position responsible for enabling efficient, secure, and reliable software delivery. You will design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines, artifact management, and release automation processes that align with organizational best practices and compliance standards. Working closely with SRE, Security, and Platform teams, you’ll ensure seamless integration, governance, and continuous improvement across development and operations environments.
The role is based in our office in Limassol, Cyprus. In case of relocation, we offer full relocation support for you and your family to make your move smooth and worry-free.
What you'll actually do
- Manage and optimize the solution for artifact storage using Artifactory, ensuring reliable and traceable artifact delivery.
- Design, develop, and support GitLab CI components that adhere to best practices, SRE standards, and security requirements.
- Facilitate the adoption of GitOps methodologies across teams, managing the development and support of release and deployment tools.
- Participate in DevOps governance meetings, perform audits, and assist teams in adopting DevOps practices and standards.
- Work closely with SRE, Security, and Platform teams to maintain alignment, compliance, and efficient release workflows.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
- 3+ years of experience working in DevOps roles within product or platform teams.
- Proven experience in developing and maintaining CI/CD systems and release pipelines.
- Proficiency in Python or Go for automation and tooling.
- Strong hands-on experience with GitLab, including GitLab CI/CD, runners management, and pipeline templating.
- Strong experience with Kubernetes, GitLab CI, and ArgoCD (including ArgoRollouts).
- Experience managing Artifactory and implementing GitOps practices.
- Familiarity with Nomad, Istio, and networking fundamentals is a plus.
- Hands-on experience with AWS, BareMetal, and vSphere environments is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
- Ability to collaborate effectively in cross-functional, fast-paced teams.
- Continuous improvement mindset and ownership attitude.
- Good communication skills in English (intermediate conversational level).
