Job Title: Quality Assurance (QA) Tester – Remote (EST Hours)

Position Overview
As a QA Tester, you will play a key role in ensuring that our web and software products meet the highest quality standards before release. You’ll work closely with developers, product managers, and designers to identify, document, and verify defects — ensuring a smooth, bug-free experience for end users.
This is a fully remote role, but you must be available to work during U.S. Eastern Standard Time (EST) hours.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute manual and automated test cases across web and mobile platforms.
- Identify, document, and track software defects and inconsistencies.
- Collaborate with development and product teams to define acceptance criteria and testing strategies.
- Perform regression, functional, integration, and performance testing as needed.
- Validate bug fixes and verify product updates prior to deployment.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes and testing frameworks.
- Ensure software meets business and technical requirements before release.
Requirements
- 2–4 years of hands-on QA testing experience (manual or automated).
- Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Experience writing and executing test cases, test scripts, and bug reports.
- Familiarity with tools such as Jira, TestRail, Postman, Selenium, or similar.
- Working knowledge of APIs and browser-based testing.
- Excellent communication and documentation skills in English.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
- Must be able to work remotely and align with U.S. EST working hours.
Nice to Have
- Experience testing SaaS applications or web-based platforms.
- Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and test automation frameworks.
- Knowledge of SQL or database testing.
- Background in performance or security testing.
