As a Lead Mobile Engineer, you will own the technical vision for mobile platforms, building scalable, high-quality systems while collaborating closely with product, design, and engineering teams. Accountabilities:
- Lead the design, development, and maintenance of cross-platform mobile applications
- Build scalable, maintainable, and well-tested software systems with robust monitoring and metrics
- Collaborate with product, design, and engineering teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers, reviewing code and guiding best practices
- Manage integrations between internal systems and third-party platforms
- Ensure mobile applications adhere to high standards of performance, reliability, and usability
- Research and leverage tools, libraries, and frameworks to optimize development efficiency
- Participate in agile development processes, contributing to sprint planning, reviews, and iterative delivery
- 5+ years of experience building and deploying advanced web and mobile applications
- 5+ years of experience developing production-ready cross-platform mobile apps using frameworks such as Flutter, React Native, or Ionic
- Strong proficiency in mobile application architecture, API integration, and state management
- Experience mentoring engineers and providing technical leadership
- Strong problem-solving skills, including debugging production issues and identifying architectural improvements
- Excellent communication skills, capable of explaining technical concepts clearly
- Experience in healthcare technologies is a plus
- Familiarity with backend technologies, cloud infrastructure (AWS), and modern development workflows
- Comfortable working in fast-paced, remote environments with tight deadlines
