Senior Front-End Software Engineer

We are seeking a talented Software Engineer with a focus on front-end development to help build and enhance innovative educational products. In this fully remote role, you will collaborate with designers, product owners, and fellow engineers to develop high-quality, performant, and user-friendly applications. You will play a key part in maintaining software reliability, contributing to code quality, and implementing best practices while continuously improving and scaling features. Accountabilities:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and maintain front-end software applications
• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code following current development standards and best practices
• Participate in code reviews to ensure maintainability, readability, and performance of applications
• Troubleshoot, debug, and prevent software incidents or bugs while providing timely resolutions
• Continuously improve and maintain existing software and contribute to the overall product architecture
• Support team knowledge sharing and communication by documenting processes and providing feedback
• Work closely with designers to ensure accessibility and a high-quality user experience
  
  
  

Requirements

• 3-5 years of experience in software engineering, with a focus on front-end development
• Proficiency in JavaScript or TypeScript and frameworks like React (Next.js experience is a bonus)
• Experience with HTML, CSS, and modern front-end development practices
• Familiarity with back-end technologies such as Golang, Python, Django, and relational databases (PostgreSQL a plus)
• Knowledge of cloud hosting services and CI/CD pipelines (Heroku, Google Cloud, Vercel experience is a bonus)
• Experience writing automated unit and integration tests
• Strong teamwork, communication skills, and ability to work effectively in a fully remote environment
• Knowledge of accessibility standards and design tools such as Figma is preferred
