About The Role

The Senior Lead Software Analyst, Technical Support at Majesco plays a vital role in maintaining data integrity within our insurance platform. This position is responsible for identifying, analyzing, and resolving data discrepancies related to policy records, ensuring the accuracy and consistency of critical insurance data. The role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams including triage, technical account management, IT, and cloud support to troubleshoot issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement effective solutions. The analyst will also be tasked with documenting all fixes and resolutions meticulously for reporting and auditing purposes, while ensuring adherence to established procedures. This role requires a proactive approach to operational activities, monitoring system performance, and addressing potential bottlenecks to minimize downtime and optimize system efficiency. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in data management within the insurance domain, particularly Property & Casualty, and demonstrate excellent problem-solving and communication skills to provide superior customer support and technical assistance.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field
  • 7+ years of experience in Banking, Insurance, or a similar industry
  • Experience with Majesco Property & Casualty (Billing) solutions or comparable insurance software
  • Proven expertise in data management and analysis, preferably within Property & Casualty Insurance
  • Advanced knowledge of data analysis tools and techniques, with proficiency in Oracle, SQL, or other database query languages
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to perform root cause analysis
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of simplifying complex technical issues
  • Experience with documentation tools such as ServiceNow, Jira, and Confluence
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines

Responsibilities

  • Identify and analyze data discrepancies related to policy records within the insurance platform
  • Execute data corrections following established procedures to ensure data accuracy
  • Perform root cause analysis on incidents and issues to prevent recurrence
  • Collaborate with triage teams, Technical Account Managers, and IT support to resolve technical problems
  • Escalate complex issues to appropriate teams and ensure timely resolution
  • Document all fixes, updates, and resolutions clearly for reporting and auditing purposes
  • Monitor system performance and conduct data integrity checks regularly
  • Perform daily operational activities to minimize system downtime and address performance bottlenecks
  • Maintain detailed logs of incidents and resolutions for continuous improvement
  • Support ongoing system enhancements and participate in testing activities as needed
