Required Skills & Experience
- 5+ years of experience in network engineering or cloud infrastructure roles
- Strong hands-on experience with AWS networking services including VPC, Transit Gateway, Direct Connect, Route 53, and Network Firewall
- Solid understanding of networking fundamentals such as TCP/IP, BGP, IPSec, DNS, NAT, and IPv4/IPv6
- Experience managing and securing hybrid network environments (on-prem and cloud)
- Proficiency with firewall technologies such as Palo Alto, Cisco, or Fortinet
- Familiarity with automation and Infrastructure as Code tools including Terraform, Ansible, and Python
- Experience using Git or GitHub for version control
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills in complex network environments
- Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with remote, cross-functional teams
- Experience working in or supporting AWS GovCloud environments
- Background in network architecture or cloud infrastructure design
- Familiarity with load balancing, service mesh networking, and traffic optimization tools
- Knowledge of security best practices for cloud networking, including IAM policies and segmentation
- Hands-on experience with monitoring and logging tools such as CloudWatch, Datadog, or Splunk
- Previous involvement in automating network deployments or CI/CD integrations for infrastructure
- Strong documentation habits and the ability to create detailed network diagrams or configuration records
- Professional certifications such as AWS Certified Advanced Networking, CCNP, or Palo Alto PCNSE
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fully remote setting
