Cloud Platform Product Lead

We’re currently looking for a skilled and enthusiastic Product Lead –Cloud Platform (m/f/d) to join our team. In this role, you’ll take ownership of our cloud platform (AWS/GCP) that enables all our tech teams to efficiently deploy their applications and services.

Our cloud platform is the backbone of our technology organization. It provides processes, tools, and services that make life easier for our application teams. As a Product Lead – Cloud Platform, you’ll work closely with our Lead Engineer and a skilled platform engineering team to ensure that the platform continuously evolves and runs smoothly.

Your focus will be on translating stakeholder needs, designing efficient processes, and shaping the roadmap – creating a direct impact across the organization.

What you will do

• Manage the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for our Cloud Platform, treating it as a critical internal product to ensure it meets the evolving needs of our developers and the business
• Act as the disciplinary lead for the team of talented platform engineers, collaborating with the Lead Engineer to foster their growth and provide mentorship to help them thrive
• Deeply understand your customers—our internal engineering teams—by spending time with them to identify their pain points and translate their needs into actionable product and process features
• Lead initiatives from concept to launch, such as improving access management workflows and driving cost optimization efforts
• Manage the product backlog, making data-informed decisions to ensure the team is always working on the most impactful features and improvements
  
  

Who you are

• Several years of experience as a Product Manager, Technical Project Manager, or in a similar role
• Strong interest and ability to understand technical topics and structure processes for complex platforms
• A strong interest in cloud/infrastructure (i.e. AWS & GCP)
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills to bridge tech teams and business requirements
• Strong organizational skills to manage requirements and roadmaps efficiently
  
  

Nice to have

• Experience with cloud environments (AWS, GCP, Azure)
• Background in platform or infrastructure product management
• Basic knowledge of SQL

Due to the upcoming tasks and responsibilities for this position, it is required to work at our headquarters in Hamburg or in our office in Berlin. Therefore we’ve implemented a hybrid working model that allows us to work remotely on Mondays and Fridays and to work onsite from Tuesday to Thursday.
