We’re looking for a Network Architect to help design, build, and maintain a high-performance, secure, and modern network for a large hospital system serving patients across the Midwest. This is a fully remote role (CST hours) with occasional travel for key projects.

What You’ll Do:
- Design, deploy, and maintain enterprise LAN/WAN, data center, and hybrid cloud networks.
- Implement policy-driven, software-defined networking (SDN) solutions to streamline operations.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize network performance using modern monitoring and analytics tools.
- Develop network standards, documentation, and best practices to ensure consistency and reliability.
- Collaborate with leadership and cross-functional teams on network projects and upgrades.
What We’re Looking For:
- Strong experience in network architecture and design, preferably in enterprise or healthcare environments.
- Deep expertise in Cisco technologies, including routing, switching, firewalls, wireless, and SDN.
- Hands-on experience with Cisco DNA Center, ACI fabrics, and SDN implementations.
- Hands-on experience with data center networks, cloud connectivity, and multi-site WANs.
- Knowledge of key network protocols and concepts (BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, VLANs, QoS, TCP/IP, MPLS, DNS/DHCP).
- Experience with network monitoring and management tools like SolarWinds, NetFlow, or Syslog.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and project collaboration skills.
Preferred:
- CCNP or equivalent certifications
- Background in large healthcare or hospital network environments
