Must have 2+ years of Lead experience
- Advanced SQL expertise writing, optimizing, and refactoring stored procedures and complex queries for large data sets (millions of rows).
- Strong Java and microservices development experience building APIs, service layers, and integrating data logic into Java code.
- Data service/middleware layer development creating consumable services from raw or processed data (not traditional data engineering or data science).
- Ability to translate SQL logic into Java application logic reading existing SQL procedures, understanding business rules, and implementing equivalent functionality in code.
- Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform and Postgres; Snowflake experience is highly preferred.
- Solid data warehousing experience working with large-scale, high-volume datasets.
- Proven on-shore lead experience coordinating with product management, tech leads, and bridging on-shore/offshore development teams.
- Strong communication and leadership skills mentoring developers, conducting code reviews, and ensuring development stays aligned with business objectives.
