Project Description:

This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a greenfield project. Highly motivated and passionate DevOps Engineer to join one of the engineering chapters, to play a key role in designing and building highly scalable and distributed applications as part of the strategic future state architecture.

Responsibilities:

• design and build new ci/cd pipelines on azure devops, git, teamcity, kubectl, azure cli.

• participate in design and development of ci/cd pipelines on azure platform.

• automating existing proof of concept via using terraform on azure.

• develop scripts to automate the deployment of resource stacks and associated configurations.

• work with cloud engineering and networking teams and build infrastructure in azure.

• work with azure kubernetes service (aks) to containerize and deploy micro-services (to come when we move our app)

• provision cloud infrastructure using terraforms/arm templates.

• educate other team members and advocate for scalable and maintainable architectural decisions.

• interface with enterprise azure cloud operation team to enable azure services for developers.

• provide support and troubleshooting issues reported by microstrategy business users.

• keen to learn more about oracle and related database technologies to improve our existing systems.

Mandatory Skills Description:

• 7+ years of experience designing, developing, monitoring, and troubleshooting scalable, secure, and fail-tolerant systems.

• proven ability to apply solutions that cater to non-functional requirements, including stability, manageability, scalability, capacity, and performance.

• great experience in Azure Cloud services and their solution design.

• extensive experience navigating and understanding Linux OS and OS internals, with a deep understanding of infrastructure components such as compute, network, storage, authentication, and authorization.

• strong experience with Infrastructure as Code using Terraform.

• understanding of DevOps principles and hands-on experience with CI/CD in automated environments. (Knowledge and experience with GitLab CICD is a big advantage.)

• expertise in containerization and orchestration technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes, Azure Kubernetes Service, and Helm.

• strong experience in shell scripting is necessary.

• ability to conduct root cause analysis and take systematic and programmatic action on the findings.
