Junior React Native Developer for Large-Scale Modernization Effort

Our client is undergoing a large-scale modernization effort, transitioning from an Adobe-based front-end ecosystem to a unified React Native platform. They are seeking a Junior React Native Developer to support this migration across web, Android, and iOS applications.

This is an exciting opportunity to join an enterprise-level transformation, contribute hands-on to new builds, and collaborate with senior engineers and architects to establish React Native best practices within the organization.

Responsibilities:

• Contribute to the design and development of new front-end features using React Native across web, iOS, and Android.
• Support the transition from Adobe-based components to a unified React Native codebase.
• Collaborate closely with senior developers, architects, and product teams to deliver performant, scalable front-end solutions.
• Participate in code reviews, testing, and troubleshooting to ensure high-quality deliverables.
• Work within agile development practices, including sprint planning and PI planning sessions.
• Assist in implementing integrations using Payload and other internal tools.

Experience:

• 3-5 years of software development experience, including hands-on React Native work.
• Experience building and deploying cross-platform mobile or web applications.
• Strong JavaScript/TypeScript fundamentals and understanding of modern front-end development practices.
• Familiarity with version control (Git), APIs, and CI/CD processes.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• Self-starter who can work independently in a remote environment.
• Prior experience with Payload CMS or similar headless CMS platforms preferred.
• Exposure to e-commerce, retail, or grocery technology environments.
• Understanding of performance optimization and platform-specific UI considerations (Android/iOS).
• Experience working in large-scale enterprise environments or modernization projects.
