Job Title: Wireless Network Design Architect
Job Description
We are seeking multiple Security Cleared (SC) Wireless Network Design Architects to support a major transformation programme for a high-profile telecommunications client. This initiative involves separating a Network Datacenter into two entities, with a strong emphasis on wireless continuity and seamless mobility.
Responsibilities
- Develop detailed wireless network designs ensuring seamless transition between Wi-Fi and 4G/5G connectivity.
- Produce low-level design (LLD) documentation for wireless infrastructure and mobility solutions.
- Define configuration standards and validate wireless network performance across Juniper, Cisco, and F5 platforms.
- Collaborate with Solutions Architects and Engineering teams to ensure design feasibility and alignment with business requirements.
- Integrate wireless access points, controllers, and mobile failover mechanisms into the overall network design.
- Ensure designs meet security, compliance, and performance standards.
- Proven experience in wireless network design and mobility architecture.
- Strong understanding of Wi-Fi technologies, including roaming, signal optimization, and failover strategies.
- Familiarity with 4G/5G integration and mobile network handoff protocols.
- Hands-on experience with Cisco wireless solutions and F5 load balancing.
- Active SC Clearance is mandatory.
- Knowledge of firewall and security protocols in wireless environments.
- Strong documentation and design review capabilities.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
- Experience in telecom or enterprise wireless deployments.
