Job Description


This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Cloud DevSecOps Engineer IV in Charlotte, NC.

In this role, you will design, build, and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines to support a sophisticated cloud-based backend platform in AWS. You will work closely with a high-performing delivery team to streamline automated build, deployment, and monitoring processes while ensuring reliability and security. The position emphasizes a culture of ownership and collaboration, with opportunities to mentor junior colleagues and influence best practices across development, testing, and operations teams. You will play a critical role in enabling full automation for cloud migration and continuous delivery, while analyzing telemetry and observability platforms to proactively resolve issues. The environment is fast-paced, technically challenging, and designed for professionals who thrive on solving complex cloud infrastructure problems.

Accountabilities:

  • Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for cloud-based systems
  • Document and model build and deployment processes in collaboration with development teams
  • Manage automated build, package, and deployment workflows
  • Diagnose and resolve issues using telemetry, dashboards, and observability tools
  • Participate in on-call support rotations, ensuring accountability for production deployments
  • Foster collaboration between development, testing, and operations teams
  • Serve as a technical resource and mentor for colleagues with less experience


Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED with 10+ years of post-secondary education and/or experience in IT or Information Security
  • Minimum 6 years of DevSecOps experience
  • AWS DevOps certification (Azure DevOps certification considered an alternative)
  • Expertise with AWS cloud services (primary provider)
  • Hands-on experience with Terraform (Infrastructure as Code)
  • Proficiency in GitHub, including GitHub Actions, and Artifactory for build/package management
  • Familiarity with observability and monitoring tools
  • Ability to balance enterprise-scale governance requirements with fast-paced, agile team delivery
  • Preferred: Harness for continuous delivery
