We’re working with a growing enterprise organisation undergoing a major Salesforce transformation, and they’re looking for an experienced Salesforce Solution Architect to help lead the charge. This is a hands-on architecture role where you’ll design and guide the delivery of scalable, secure, and high-performing Salesforce solutions across multiple clouds — including Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud, and MuleSoft.

You’ll act as the bridge between business strategy and technical delivery, translating complex requirements into well-architected Salesforce solutions that deliver real business value. Working closely with developers, consultants, and business stakeholders, you’ll play a key role in shaping a multi-cloud environment that’s built to scale.

What you’ll be doing

Solution Architecture & Design

• Own the architecture and design of Salesforce solutions across multiple clouds and systems.
• Translate business requirements into scalable, maintainable architectures aligned with Salesforce Well-Architected principles.
• Ensure solutions meet enterprise standards and business objectives.

Technical Leadership & Delivery Oversight

• Provide architectural guidance and review across Salesforce projects.
• Partner with developers to ensure clean, maintainable code and best practices.
• Oversee configuration, customisation, and declarative automation.

Data & Integration Strategy

• Design and oversee integrations using MuleSoft, APIs, and middleware.
• Define data models, migration approaches, and governance frameworks.
• Ensure solutions meet security and compliance requirements.

Stakeholder Engagement & Collaboration

• Act as a trusted advisor to technical and business teams.
• Lead workshops, discovery sessions, and solution reviews.
• Collaborate across teams to align architecture with business goals.

Platform Governance & Continuous Improvement

• Establish and maintain architecture standards and documentation.
• Conduct design reviews and champion Salesforce best practices.
• Stay current with platform releases and identify opportunities to enhance solutions.

What you’ll bring

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 7+ years of Salesforce architecture and platform development experience.
• Strong hands-on background in Apex, LWC, Flows, and Salesforce data modelling.
• Proven experience integrating Salesforce with ERP and cloud platforms (AWS preferred).
• Expertise in Salesforce APIs, security model, and platform limits.
• Working knowledge of AWS services (EC2, S3, Lambda, API Gateway, IAM).
• Familiarity with DevOps tools and CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Gearset, Copado).
• Excellent communication, documentation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience leading architecture decisions in large-scale programmes.

Required Certifications

• Salesforce Platform Developer I (required)
• Application Architect or System Architect (preferred)
• Integration Architecture Designer, Sharing & Visibility Designer (nice to have)

Bonus Skills

• AWS Certified Solutions Architect (Associate or Professional)
• Experience with Terraform or CloudFormation
• Background in org strategy or M&A platform consolidation
