Laravel Developer / Tech Lead

Location: Indonesia - fully remote

Type: Full-time - 1 year contract

Compensation: about USD 880 per month (fixed)

About the role

You will lead the build-out and hardening of a live Laravel marketplace platform with multi-role logic and secure payments. The stack includes Laravel, MySQL, Stripe Connect, and social APIs, with a focus on performance, scalability, and clean release practices.

What you’ll do

• Own system architecture and standards. Lead code reviews and documentation.
• Drive performance tuning, queue workers, job scheduling, and security best practices.
• Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools like Forge and GitHub Actions. Manage staging and production, versioning, backups, and rollback.
• Oversee cloud setup, load balancing, and monitoring using tools like Sentry.
• Integrate and scale payment flows with Stripe Connect, including separate charges and transfers.
• Guide integrations with Meta, YouTube, and TikTok APIs where needed.
• Work closely with leadership on technical roadmap and long-term scalability plans.

Must haves

• 10+ years building complex systems in Laravel and PHP.
• Strong marketplace experience, especially multi-vendor or multi-role flows.
• Hands-on with Stripe Connect and payment splitting or multi-party transfers.
• Solid DevOps fundamentals and CI/CD experience.
• Excellent English, ownership mindset, and structured way of working.
• Comfortable using modern AI dev tools like GitHub Copilot and ChatGPT to speed up delivery and documentation.

Nice to have

• Hostinger or similar cloud hosting familiarity. GitHub flow with PR reviews.

• Daily Slack syncs and weekly dev meetings. Structured tickets and clear acceptance criteria. Automation-first culture.

Work hours

• Flexible, with overlap in Indonesia or Germany time as needed.
