A well-known banking client is currently looking for a creative, talented and self-sufficient Low Latency Senior C++ Developer on a permanent contract for hybrid work in Prague (Czechia).

In brief:

  • you will leverage your deep knowledge of C++ programming and design patterns to work with market data, including real-time data feeds and data storage
  • develop high-performance, low-latency systems, ensuring they meet the demands of a fast-paced, geographically dispersed environment
  • continuously improving these systems to maintain and enhance their efficiency and reliability
  • no on-call or working in other (than Czech) time zones
  • recruitment is urgent so the interview process is smooth!


Skills needed:

  • The most important is at least 7 years of experience with Low-latency C++(at least C++20)
  • Multi-threading, concurrent programming, together with proficiency in performance tuning and optimisation techniques
  • SQL or KDB database technologies
  • EU citizenship/Czech perm residency/ blue card is mandatory


Nice to have:

  • Experience with financial markets, trading systems, and algorithmic trading
  • Familiarity with market data protocols, such as ITCH, FAST, FIX
  • Knowledge of scripting languages, such as Python or Shell
