Key Responsibilities
- Develop and enhance SAP Fiori/UI5 applications and manage roles, catalogs, groups, and application assignments using SAP Fiori Configuration Cockpit on SAP BTP NEO.
- Build and deploy freestyle SAP Fiori apps to SAP Fiori Cloud Portal, configuring destinations, roles, and launchpad tiles.
- Create custom UI5 components and frameworks for SAP BTP Cloud Portal and S/4HANA On-Premise Launchpad.
- Manage Fiori Launchpad sites on SAP Launchpad Service (BTP) or On-Premise configuration cockpit.
- Deploy custom Fiori apps via Multi-Target Application (MTA) architecture and manage .mtar files.
- Support and optimize existing Fiori apps and drive mobile Fiori UX enhancements.
- Migrate projects from SAP Web IDE (NEO) to SAP Business Application Studio (BAS) on Cloud Foundry.
- Enhance standard Fiori apps such as MyInbox for consolidated workflows.
- Lead migration initiatives from SAP BTP Cloud Portal to S/4HANA On-Premise Launchpad.
- Ensure application security, integration, and high-performance delivery across SAP and non-SAP systems.
- Develop PoCs and contribute to innovation and modernization projects.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- 7+ years of strong SAP Fiori/UI5 development experience (both implementation & support).
- Deep expertise in:
- Fiori Launchpad (BTP & On-Premise)
- OData Gateway Services
- SAP Web IDE & SAP Business Application Studio
- Fiori design patterns, UI Theme Designer, JavaScript, CSS, HTML5, jQuery
- Experience configuring and branding Fiori Sites (spaces, pages, roles, widgets).
- Knowledge of SAP Cloud Portal Service, SAP Mobile Platform, and integrations with SAP/non-SAP systems.
- Good understanding of REST/OData protocols and cross-browser compatibility.
- Strong collaboration with SAP functional consultants and ability to deliver scalable solutions.
- ABAP proficiency (OData/REST services) required; HANA modeling/CDS views is a plus.
- SAP certification in relevant SAP development technologies (mandatory).
Educational Background
🎓 Bachelor’s or higher degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
