You can look forward to
- You monitor our security systems in our environments and analyse relevant security events
- You report incidents such as potential cyber attacks or spam and phishing attacks, analyse them and then report them to the Security Operation Center
- You research and categorise threats in the areas of network, storage, cloud and/or email, you identify and close gateways and vulnerabilities for potential disruptions
- You determine the causes of attacks, support the restoration of services and continuously monitor IT systems for intrusions or irregular behaviour
- You deal with the planning and implementation of regulatory and legal requirements in the context of IT security
- You will work on the preparation and implementation of workshops and presentations to impart information security expertise and develop threat models
- Several years of professional experience in IT security with an internationally operating company, especially in the development of IT security architectures
- Well-versed in innovative IT security technologies and processes
- Experience with enterprise networks and cloud environments as well as with the implementation and operation of complex network and security solutions
- Experience with the creation and implementation of IT security architectures in standard cloud environments
- In-depth expertise in the field of IT infrastructure in relation to network protocols, scripting, vulnerability management and penetration testing and in the field of Windows, Linux and cloud-based workstation systems and servers
- Proficient user skills in German and English
- Willingness to go on occasional business trips, roughly once or twice a year
- Strong communication skills, customer focus and your willingness to cooperate and coordinate
- Interest in continuous further education and training
