IAM Engineer (Okta) role involves designing, implementing, and managing Okta-based identity and access management solutions to secure user access and data.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain identity and access management (IAM) solutions using Okta and related technologies.
• Configure and manage Single Sign-On (SSO) using protocols like SAML and OAuth, and implement Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA).
• Oversee user onboarding, role-based access control (RBAC) assignments, and de-provisioning processes.
• Automate IAM processes, integrate Okta with various cloud and on-premise applications, and use scripting languages like Python or PowerShell for tasks.

Skills/Experience

• Minimum 5+ years experience working as an IAM/IGA Engineer in a similar role
• Strong technical expertise in Okta and IAM protocols (SSO, MFA, SAML, OAuth).
• Experience using Active Directory, MS Exchange, SAP, databases, LDAP
• Deep understanding of principles like RBAC, Zero Trust,
• Experience with related technologies such as Azure Active Directory (Entra ID), other directory services
• Proficiency in scripting languages like PowerShell, Python, or SQL for automation is a significant plus
