Role Overview
Looking for a skilled SDET Automation Tester to lead automation testing initiatives for Mainframe and Tandem-based application environments. The candidate should be capable of working independently onsite, focusing on functional, API, and end-to-end test automation using Java & Selenium within Agile delivery teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Java & Selenium
- Perform functional and API testing for core enterprise applications
- Participate in Agile ceremonies and collaborate closely with development and business teams
- Own testing deliverables end-to-end and ensuring high-quality releases
- Support defect analysis, debugging, and test coverage improvements
Required Skills
- Java + Selenium hands-on automation experience
- API Testing experience (REST APIs)
- Strong Functional testing background
- Agile methodology exposure
- Ability to independently handle testing from client location
Preferred Skills
- Experience with Mainframe/Tandem systems
- Experience in a financial domain environment
