As part of our client's strategic growth and innovation initiatives, we are searching for skilled Power BI Developers who have a passion for data modeling, ETL processes, and report creation using Power BI. Proficiency in creating interactive and visually appealing dashboards is essential. Successful candidates will have the opportunity to contribute to enhancing our data-driven decision-making processes through effective data storage, retrieval, and analysis solutions.
What you’ll be doing:
- Utilize your expertise in data modeling to design and implement efficient and scalable data structures.
- Create visually appealing and insightful dashboards and reports using Power BI to communicate complex data trends and patterns.
- Demonstrate proficiency in building paginated reports to meet the specific reporting needs of the organization.
- Ensure accuracy and clarity in paginated reports for effective communication of key metrics and performance indicators.
- Showcase your familiarity with SQL for data manipulation and extraction.
- Possess a deep understanding of ETL processes, with the ability to troubleshoot and monitor pipelines.
- Proactively identify and troubleshoot issues within ETL workflows, collaborating with relevant teams to implement solutions promptly.
- Foster collaboration with diverse teams to gain a deep understanding of business requirements.
- Translate complex business needs into actionable and impactful results through effective communication and teamwork.
- Thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic work setting; familiarity with agile principles is preferred.
- Utilize agile principles to enhance flexibility and responsiveness in delivering high-quality solutions.
- Proven experience in data modeling and report creation (including paginated reports) using Power BI.
- Strong proficiency in SQL for data manipulation and extraction.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to monitor and troubleshoot ETL pipelines effectively.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively within a team environment
Working Hours: 8 am - 5 pm EST
Salary: CAD 1200 -CAD 2000
