Smart Contract Engineer - Chinese / Mandarin Speaker
Our client, a fast-growing decentralized derivatives protocol, is expanding its core engineering team. They are hiring a Smart Contract Engineer to help build the next generation of DeFi protocols integrating Real World Assets (RWA). This is a remote role for a technically strong developer fluent in both Solidity and Chinese, eager to work in a high-performing global blockchain environment.
You’ll collaborate with experienced crypto engineers, financial technologists, and blockchain researchers, designing secure and efficient systems that bridge traditional finance and decentralized technology.
What you’ll do as the Smart Contract Engineer
- Design and deploy smart contracts for RWA asset issuance, risk management, and secondary market trading.
- Build and optimize financial logic including interest models, liquidation mechanisms, and compliance components.
- Communicate effectively across multilingual teams in both Chinese and English.
- Maintain high standards for code quality, documentation, and audits.
Requirements of the Smart Contract Engineer
- Bachelor’s degree or above from a top Chinese university (985 or 211).
- Fluent in spoken and written Chinese, with strong English communication skills.
- 3+ years of hands-on Solidity development experience in production environments.
- Familiarity with leading DeFi protocols such as Uniswap, AAVE, and Compound.
- Proficiency in at least one additional language: JavaScript, TypeScript, or Python.
Nice to have
- Strong foundation in mathematics, financial engineering, or cryptography.
- Contributions to open-source or Web3 projects.
- Strong analytical mindset and ability to work independently in a remote setting.
