Role: Senior Quality Assurance Engineer

Position Type: Full-Time Contract (40hrs/week)

Contract Duration: 6-month initial term, long-term potential

Work Schedule: 8 hours/day (Mon-Fri)

Location: 100% Remote - Candidates can work form anywhere in LATAM countries (The team has a Virtual office via ZOOM)

About the Role

We’re seeking a Sr. Quality Assurance Engineer to support the client’s growing eCommerce testing and automation initiatives. This is a highly collaborative, fully remote opportunity — the team works in a virtual office environment via Zoom to stay connected throughout the day.

What You’ll Do

• Perform 70% automation / 30% manual testing on web and mobile eCommerce platforms
• Develop and maintain test scripts and frameworks using Playwright (TypeScript) or Selenium
• Create and execute regression and functional test packs
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to test planning and strategy
• Collaborate with developers, product managers, and stakeholders to ensure high-quality releases
• Review requirements for testability and maintain detailed, clear test documentation

What We’re Looking For

• 5+ years of QA/testing experience (manual + automation)
• Strong eCommerce testing background
• Expertise in Playwright or Selenium, with experience building Page Object Model (POM) frameworks
• Hands-on experience with JavaScript/TypeScript
• Experience using Jira, Confluence, Zephyr (or similar tools)
• Excellent communication, analytical, and organizational skills
• Experience in Agile/Scrum environments

Nice to Have

• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines
• Cross-browser and mobile testing experience
