Akkodis is seeking an AFS Data Analyst for a contract role with a 100% remote opportunity, Ideally, looking for applicants with a Significant experience / Knowledge of any Data Mapping ,AFS Vision ,SQL etc.
Pay Rate:$55 to 60/HR. on w2 (depends on the experience and geographical location)
Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly analytical Data Analyst to support complex data integration and migration initiatives within AFS systems for our financial clients. This individual will focus primarily on analyzing large datasets, performing detailed SQL queries, and validating data accuracy to ensure seamless migrations. The ideal candidate is what we call a “human calculator” — someone who thrives on working with data all day, every day, and enjoys uncovering insights and resolving discrepancies through rigorous analysis.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze, validate, and transform large data sets from third-party sources for integration into AFS systems (Level III and AFSVision).
- Develop and execute SQL queries to extract, compare, and validate data throughout conversion and migration processes.
- Perform data mapping, file analysis, and reconciliation to ensure data integrity across systems.
- Support conversion and interface development projects by analyzing source and target data structures.
- Collaborate with technical teams to communicate data findings and ensure accurate system configurations.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Finance, Information Systems, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in data analysis, financial systems, or commercial banking data environments.
- Proficient in SQL querying and Microsoft Access for data extraction, transformation, and validation.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel (advanced formulas, lookups, pivot tables).
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently in a data-intensive environment with minimal supervision.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with AFS systems (AFSVision, AFS Level III) or similar commercial lending platforms.
- Familiarity with data conversion, migration, and reconciliation practices.
- Understanding of relational databases, networks, and data security principles.
- Exposure to financial accounting, loan processing, or commercial lending systems.
