Power BI Developer – Fully Remote, United Kingdom – Permanent – Up to £70k
We are seeking a contract Power BI Developer to join our client's team. You will be responsible for creating and managing dynamic, visually engaging reports and dashboards that deliver actionable insights from data. You will leverage Microsoft’s Power BI suite to transform complex data into meaningful information that drives strategic business decisions. Additionally, you will assess current solutions and prioritise improvements related to data accuracy, availability, and security.

- Salary up to £70k.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain business intelligence solutions using Power BI, ensuring alignment with company branding and standards.
- Analyse current data solutions, including usage statistics and data lineage, to identify areas for improvement in data sources and consumption methods.
- Collaborate with data analysts to gather business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Develop data models and reports that clearly communicate key metrics and insights to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Ensure data accuracy and integrity across all reports and dashboards.
- Optimise and maintain existing Power BI reports and dashboards for enhanced performance and scalability.
Required Skills and Experience:
- Proficiency in Power BI
- Strong experience with DAX (Data Analysis Expressions)
- Expertise in data modelling
- Experience with ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes
- Familiarity with Databricks (preferred but not essential)
