Gamma is a leading supplier of Unified Communications as a Service (UCaaS): we provide voice, data and mobile products and services to the UK, German, Spanish and Benelux business markets.

Gamma is expanding its UCaaS presence in Europe with a family of businesses focusing on digital automation, delivering Gamma-powered services to SME customers via a network of channel partners in Germany, Spain, and the Benelux region.

Our team work fast, with a start-up type of mindset but working within a leading European business.

Who are we looking for?

As a Solutions Architect at Gamma, you will be primarily responsible for driving & owning the continual enhancements of our industry-leading communications platform with a focus on our VoIP stack and interconnections with our telephony partners. You also need to be a nice person who can work well within a team and exude confidence.

What will you be doing day-to-day?

• Be a key influence on our VoIP platform, with an emphasis on Kamailio / FreeSwitch, / Asterisk & RTPEngine best practice
• Deploy and configure SBCs, B2BUAs, Registrars and Gateways in the cloud.
• Analyse SIP Traces and flows to optimise and debug
• Support the direction and architecture of Gamma.
• Learn other technologies to help you along the way, including AWS.
• Work with partners to define and deliver integrations in order to deliver our services to our customers 24/7, worldwide with the best quality in the market.

What you’ll need

The tech stuff:

• Experience configuring Freeswitch or Asterisk
• Ability to analyse SIP Traces and Flows
• TCP/IP, SIP, RTP, DNS.
• Understanding of WebRTC protocols: ICE, STUN & TURN
• A bonus - some knowledge of Kamailio

A few things to note

This role will require travel to one of our office locations (Manchester) once or twice a week.

We do not need agency support; we do all our recruitment in house.
