Description
JOB DESCRIPTION
SAIC is seeking a Cloud Systems Engineer for the Joint Expeditionary Command and Control (JEXC2) program based out of Panama City, FL. This position will be 100% remote.  
The qualified candidate will support the Joint & Expeditionary Command and Control (JEXC2) program RDT&E team, providing systems and engineering support in accordance with stakeholder tasking to the RDT&E team.
Job Duties
- Participate in the migration of on-premises systems to the Gov Azure cloud (IL2 environment).
- Configure, manage, and troubleshoot Windows and Linux-based systems in Azure.
- Automate system administration tasks using Ansible and other software.
- Implement and maintain secure network configurations.
- Collaborate with team members in an Agile development environment.
- Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation.
- Manage and deploy containerized applications.
- Monitor system performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Contribute to the overall security posture of the system.
- Adhere to security policies and best practices, maintaining compliance with relevant regulations.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND CLEARANCE
- Bachelor’s in computer science and two (2) years or more related experience. Additional years’ experience accepted in lieu of a degree.
- Proven experience with Azure and cloud systems.
- Strong proficiency in Windows and Linux operating systems.
- Solid understanding of networking principles.
- Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles.
- Demonstrable experience with Ansible automation.
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
- Candidate must be a US Citizen.
- Must currently hold a Secret clearance with the ability to acquire and maintain Active Top Secret clearance.
- Candidate must have a Security+ certification prior to first day. 
- Demonstrated completion of AZ-104 learning modules or course materials (proof required for access).
- Experience with container technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes)
- Experience with scripting languages (e.g., Python, PowerShell).
- Familiarity with cloud security best practices and compliance frameworks
