QA Engineer (Contract)
We are a Seattle-based company established in 2009, on a mission to disrupt the e-commerce and affiliate marketing landscape. We work with some of the biggest YouTubers, podcasters, gamers, streamers, and global brands to help them thrive by building engagement and maximizing revenue through intelligent linking.
As a QA Engineer, you’ll join a product team dedicated to delighting thousands of creators and publishers worldwide. You’ll play a key role in ensuring that our web applications, user-facing tools, and traffic optimization systems meet the highest quality standards before reaching customers. This is a unique opportunity to support the creator economy while working in a highly collaborative, remote-first environment.
Required Skills & Experience
- Strong attention to detail with a passion for delivering high-quality user experiences
- Hands-on experience designing, writing, and executing manual and/or automated test cases
- Proficiency with defect tracking tools such as Jira, Trello, or Azure DevOps
- Experience supporting release cycles by running acceptance and regression testing
- Familiarity with UAT test tools (PractiTest, Zephyr, TestRail)
- Proven ability to collaborate with developers, product managers, and designers to clarify requirements and validate fixes
- Strong communication skills and comfort working in Agile/Kanban software development processes
- Experience working with affiliate programs
- Exposure to automation frameworks, CI/CD pipelines, or SDET collaboration workflows
- Knowledge of usability testing, performance metrics, and edge case analysis
What You Will Be Doing
- 50% Designing and executing manual/automated test cases
- 25% Regression, UAT, and acceptance testing across web applications
- 15% Collaboration with developers and product stakeholders
- 10% Documentation of UAT and contribution to test automation frameworks
- Develop and maintain test cases and suites for web applications
- Identify, document, and track defects, ensuring timely fixes
- Perform regression and exploratory testing prior to releases
- Provide critical feedback on usability, performance, and edge cases
- Partner with SDET to document and implement automation coverage
This is a fully remote position. We embraced a remote-first model in 2020, and we welcome candidates worldwide. Core working hours should align with Pacific Time (UTC – 08), but flexibility is offered to support international team members.
