Linux System Administrator / HPC Engineer | F1, Aerospace & Life Sciences | Fully Remote
Global leader in High-Performance Computing infrastructure, supporting some of the most advanced technical environments in the world - from Formula 1 and aerospace to life sciences and pharma.
They’re expanding their European team and looking for a Linux System Administrator / HPC Engineer to take ownership of large-scale, performance-critical HPC environments. You’ll join a hands-on engineering group that designs, optimises, and supports complex compute and storage systems for elite global clients. They recently opened 7 offices globally!
What you’ll be doing
- Managing and optimising large-scale Linux-based HPC clusters
- Administering and tuning Lustre or other parallel file systems
- Automating workflows and system management with Python, Bash, and Ansible
- Improving reliability across compute, storage, and networking layers
- Working closely with expert engineers to deliver high-performance solutions
What they’re looking for
- Strong Linux administration skills (RHEL, SLES etc.)
- Experience with Lustre, BeeGFS, GPFS, or CEPH
- Good grasp of networking, VLANs, and storage hardware
- Solid scripting / automation experience (Python or Bash)
- English communication skills - essential for working across global teams
- EU Citizen Ideal (Open to UK profiles)
