The Opportunity
We’re looking for an experienced Android Developer to join our mobile software team. In this role, you’ll design and deliver real-time command-and-control interfaces that power our robotic systems. You’ll work closely with robotics engineers, backend developers, and UX designers to create reliable, high-performance Android applications used in operational environments.

What You’ll Do
- Develop and maintain Android applications for real-time situational awareness and control
- Implement advanced UI systems using Jetpack Compose and the View framework
- Build and optimize data streaming and asynchronous workflows with Kotlin coroutines and flows
- Integrate video processing and real-time data management capabilities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver mission-critical mobile experiences
- Contribute to architecture design, performance tuning, and code quality standards
What You Bring
- 2+ years of professional Android development experience (real-time or interactive apps preferred)
- Strong command of Kotlin, coroutines, and modern Android architecture
- Experience with dependency injection (Dagger or similar)
- Familiarity with real-time data systems, video streaming, and Gradle build management
- Strong communication and collaboration skills across technical disciplines
- U.S. citizenship and eligibility for a security clearance
- Willingness to relocate to Phoenix, AZ
Bonus Points
- Experience with map-based UIs, data synchronization, or server integrations
- Background in mission-critical, defense, or industrial applications
- Familiarity with Figma, UX/UI principles, or interactive software (e.g., game development)
- Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
