We are seeking a highly skilled GCP Data Engineer with expertise in Teradata to join our dynamic team.
Qualification & Experience
- Required Technical Skill Set - GCP, BigQuery, MS SQL Server, Data Modeling
- Minimum 5 years of experience on Teradata.
- Proven experience in building data warehousesmarts using Teradata native utilities like BTEQ, TPT, Fast load, etc.,
- Strong experience in writing BTEQ (Basic Teradata Query) scripts for data extraction, transformation, and loading within Teradata.
- Should have experience working with any cloud (GCP/Azure/AWS).
- Strong knowledge on data modelling concepts and techniques.
- Experience migrating Teradata to Cloud (preferably GCP) will be an added advantage.
- Strong experience in Teradata programming and Optimization techniques.
- Experience in maintaining data and Teradata instance to meet business delivery.
- Proficient in analyzing data along with writing and optimizing SQL.
- Experience coding in Java, Python, or other languages will be an add-on.
- Experience working with ETL tool Informatica.
- Assist with common database procedures such as upgrade, backup, recovery, migration, etc.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills..
- Familiar with tools that can aid with profiling server resource usage and optimizing it.
- Skills of effective time management and ability to float between multiple projects.
