- Provide technical support within the Operations Center, including proactive and reactive incident resolution
- Collaborate with multi-functional teams to ensure optimal database performance and security
- Perform proactive reviews of database system performance metrics and logs
- Provide server and database support for MS SQL Server, including installation, patching, and backups
- Participate in a 24x7 on-call rotation to address after-hours issues and planned work
- Minimum of 5 years of MS SQL Server database administration experience
- Experience with installation, configuration, and support for MS SQL Server 2016 and newer
- Proficiency in T-SQL and PowerShell scripting
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Recent experience with Cloud computing platforms, such as Azure, AWS, and GCP
- Experience implementing High Availability and Disaster Recovery solutions within MS SQL Server
- Familiarity with SSRS, SSIS, SSAS, and Azure Data Factory
- Experience in an enterprise-level production data center environment
- Knowledge of Databricks Administration and other database technologies like MongoDB and Oracle
