Job Description
I am working with an innovative Google cloud native Health Imaging SaaS platform. They have transformed healthcare via innovative technology, leveraging AI/ML, and creating scalable, native cloud architectures to build solutions that make a meaningful difference within the MRI and CT scanning departments. They're looking for an Automation Quality Engineer to join their team to help ensure the reliability and excellence of their cloud-native healthcare platform.

Role Details
- Type: 6 month contract (Extension Likely), 40 hours p/week
- Location: 100% Remote (U.S. working hours)
- $40 - $55 p/hour
What You'll Do
- Build and maintain UI, API, and backend automation frameworks
- Convert legacy automation (Cypress) into Playwright
- Identify, fix, and optimize legacy tests
- Integrate automation into CI/CD pipelines (GitLab CI)
- Collaborate with engineering to drive testing best practices
- Support a quality-first culture across development teams
Mandatory Requirements
- 5+ years in QA automation
- 5+ years of experience with Cypress & Playwright
- 5+ years of experience Node.js/TypeScript
- Hands-on experience with automation across Web UI, APIs, and microservices
- Deep understanding of CI/CD pipelines
Nice to Have
- Healthcare / regulated industry experience (HIPAA, HL7, DICOM)
- PostgreSQL or backend test expertise
- Experience in Kubernetes or GKE
