Network Engineer (Remote - US)

We are seeking a highly skilled and proactive Network Engineer to join a dynamic and technology-driven environment supporting a global trading infrastructure. In this role, you will work on complex networking and security challenges—ranging from latency optimization and multicast routing to automation and monitoring. You'll collaborate with experienced IT professionals to enhance network reliability, scalability, and performance in a fast-paced, mission-critical setting. This position offers a mix of hands-on technical work, strategic design input, and opportunities to innovate through automation and advanced monitoring tools.

Accountabilities:

• Design, maintain, and optimize a low-latency, high-performance network supporting 24/7 trading operations
• Diagnose and resolve complex networking and security issues, ensuring minimal downtime and maximum reliability
• Automate manual processes to streamline network management and improve operational efficiency
• Support remote datacenter design, implementation, and management across multiple global locations
• Deploy and maintain network monitoring and security tools to identify anomalies, detect threats, and ensure compliance
• Participate in scheduled maintenance windows, on-call rotations, and provide after-hours support when necessary
• Collaborate cross-functionally with IT, trading, and infrastructure teams to support evolving business needs
  
  
  

Requirements:


Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• Proven experience in managing complex, mission-critical network environments
• Strong understanding of TCP/IP, Layer 2/3 networking, routing protocols (BGP/OSPF), multicast, QoS, and latency optimization
• Familiarity with scripting and automation (Python preferred)
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to document implementations and explain complex topics clearly
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of working both independently and collaboratively
• Analytical mindset with strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
