Job Title: AI Security Specialist

Overview
We’re seeking an experienced AI Security Specialist to support a leading healthcare client in securing their AI and machine learning environments. This role focuses on protecting sensitive patient data, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations, and safeguarding the AI/ML lifecycle from data ingestion to production deployment.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement security frameworks for AI/ML systems handling PHI and regulated healthcare data.
- Conduct threat modeling, risk assessments, and architecture reviews for AI workloads.
- Apply HIPAA, HITRUST, and NIST AI RMF standards to ensure compliance and data privacy.
- Secure cloud-based AI platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) including IAM, encryption, and access control.
- Partner with DevOps and data science teams to deploy secure, compliant ML models.
- Monitor and respond to AI-specific threats such as data poisoning and model manipulation.
- Contribute to incident response, forensics, and remediation for AI-related security events.
Required Skills
- 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity or cloud security, including 2+ years with AI/ML systems.
- Strong understanding of ML architecture, data governance, and secure development lifecycles.
- Proficiency in Python or scripting for automation and auditing.
- Experience securing AI workloads in AWS SageMaker, Azure ML, or GCP Vertex AI.
- Knowledge of Zero Trust, IAM, encryption, and compliance frameworks (HIPAA, NIST, HITRUST).
Preferred Qualifications
- Certifications: CISSP, CCSP, AWS Security Specialty, or HITRUST Practitioner.
- Familiarity with adversarial ML, model hardening, and AI governance standards (NIST AI RMF, ISO/IEC 42001).
